Captain Haydon Bell ("RELEASE")
Haydon, has grown up as a Cairns local with the Great Barrier Reef as his playground. He has accumulated over 25 years experience in the Sport & Game Fishing Industry. Haydon's fishing knowledge stretches from the Great Barrier Reef to the Gold Coast, Sydney plus extensive International game fishing in Kona Hawaii, Mexico, Costa Rica, Solomon Islands and PNG.. However, his speciality is producing Giant Black Marlin for his clients on his home turf from Cairns to north of Lizard Island on the Ribbon Reefs.
Haydon learnt his trade as a first mate/deck hand under some of the world's most respected boat Captain's. Haydon Bell has extensive commercial fishing experience on prawn trawlers & Mackeral fishing boats in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
Haydon graduated to Captain the famous tournament winning boat "TANDERRA" and many other top performing boats. He is now the Owner/Captain of the world renowned game boat "RELEASE" Haydon is regarded by his peers as one of the leading new age Captains on the Heavy Tackle Black Marlin scene. "RELEASE" with Haydon at the helm has been one of the top performing boats on released black marlin while winning many prestigious tournaments. He is renowned as the BIG FISH SPECIALIST producing many 1000lb plus Giant Black Marlin for his Australian and International clients. |
